This strikes me as analogous to low-code web technologies. They’ve been hugely influential and lowered barriers to entry. Ex: wordpress, squarespace.

But,,, the landscape of web technologies grows broader every day. Lots of cool new libraries and frameworks around every level of the stack. I feel like we’ve barely scratched the surface of what WebAssembly can do, for example. It's become easier to do the simple stuff, and that makes room for more complicated things to be done.

Everybody wins here, and progress marches forward.
